EDU Program Installation

The Radiant EDU is controlled by the program that is installed using the links below.  The program is freely distributed to anyone for installation anywhere.  Those who have not purchased the EDU may want to download and install the EDU program for evaluation purposes.

NOTE:  The EDU Program may be installed and operated from any Windows operating system.  However, no drivers yet exist for 64-bit operating systems.  While the program may be installed on 64-bit Windows 7 or Windows Vista, these operating systems will not recognize or install the EDU tester.  If you intend to control the Radiant EDU from Windows 7 or Windows Vista, please ensure that you have 32-bit operating systems installed.

The links below document the installation process for the program and for the EDU tester.  There is also a guide for troubleshooting tester operation problems.

The link below downloads the program installer.  Download and run the installer to write the EDU program to your host computer.

Once the program is installed, double-click the EDU icon on the host computer desktop.  The program will start as a simple dialog.  The program will also open the EDU help pages.  Review the help pages for detailed discussion of the program operation.  The help pages also present physics and theory of non-linear measurements and tester operation.  A small syllabus is also available for experiments that can be performed by the EDU tester.

Good luck with your review of the Radiant EDU program.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, comments or difficulties.
