January 3, 2010 Yes, the Angstrom-scale movement of the surface of thin film capacitors can be measured! Radiant has worked for over a year to bring this capability to its customers at a reasonable price. Now, the new Advanced Piezo Task and the Precision Displacement Test Stand are available. The butterfly loop below was measured at Radiant's offices using a laser vibrometer, the PDTS, and Advanced Piezo.
