Radiant integrates electronics, software, and ferroelectric materials into products to serve its customers.

 

Radiant is the world's leading manufacturer of test systems for evaluating the electrical, piezoelectric, and pyroelectric properties of thin-film and bulk ceramic materials. Radiant manufactures integrated ferroelectric-based electrical and MEMs devices to support its test equipment.

 

Radiant is also developing new and unique products integrating ferroelectric components with low power electronics and communications systems.

 

 

Radiant Technologies is a tester company and an integrated-scale thin ferroelectric film fabrication manufacturer. Our own test equipment is central to the development of high quality ferroelectric films. In turn, the constant need for improved process control and devices is the crucible for the development and refinement of accurate and useful test procedures. Our customers benefit from this continual cycle of evolution.

 

 

Test procedures, and the electronics necessary to execute those test procedures under theoretical conditions, require a skilled engineering staff working with known good samples to integrate theory with electronics, software, packaging, and data management. The high quality and versatility of Radiant's tester product line is the direct result of this foundation.

 

 

Radiant's capacitors are now embedded in our test equipment as test references and teaching guides, the first application of thin ferroelectric films as discrete devices outside of integrated circuits. This product definition - to survive in the test environment - seems simple but required Radiant to develop design rules, product acceptance standards, and packaging procedures as the basis for future products.

 

 

Piezoelectric MEMs and discrete memory circuits, Radiant's first products for the general engineering community world-wide, will be revolutionary products in their own right. Their introduction will close a third loop in the cycle of evolution for thin ferroelectric film technology and start the product evolution that proved so successful for the silicon integrated circuit.
